Your membership and donations allow us to promote the legacy of Johnny Mercer through public awareness and historical preservation. As an example, a collection of personal memorabilia is housed in the Lane Library at Georgia Southern University, Armstrong Campus.

Inspiring ideas need action - with your help, the Friends of Johnny Mercer desire to bring professional talent for performances to mark special times associated with Johnny Mercer's life. 

Each year the Friends of Johnny Mercer sponsors a Johnny Mercer award at the American Traditions Competition. Other scholarship or musical awards are being contemplated.
